​Volunteer Opportunities

All of our volunteers must be cleared by the Department of Justice - Victor Valley Community Services Council will provide you with the paperwork and cover the cost of processing. Please call our office at 760-243-9646 for more information or to schedule a time to fill out your volunteer application.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Drivers - Drivers are needed to transport Seniors to our facility for Senior Activities and to transport Seniors to medical appointments. You must have your own vehicle, we reimburse mileage. 

Activities - Volunteers are needed to assist in our Senior and Intergenerational activities. These activities are held on Thursdays from 12pm - 3pm. See our Calendar for upcoming activity dates.

Group Shopping - Volunteers are needed to accompany Seniors on our bus for our group shopping trips to Grocery Outlet, The Dollar Tree & DD's Discount. We take group shopping trips once a month on a Tuesday 10am - 2pm. See our calendar for dates.

Group Senior Food Pantry Trips - Volunteers are needed to accompany Seniors on our bus to pickup senior food pantry items. Volunteers assist with waiting in line, lifting and carrying. We take trips to the food pantry once per month on Wednesday 9am-2pm. See our calendar for dates.
